Depth Painting 🖌️
Images where the subject is clearly distinguishable from the background work great. You can also use the in-painting tool to adjust the background and foreground of the image and save it as well. Use the different levels in the options menu to adjust whether you are painting in the background or the foreground. If you do not like the result, simply press "undo" or "discard", otherwise select save. Typically this tool is used to adjust smaller details within the scene, for example, the flag on a sailboat that can be seen moving with the rest of the boat once animated.
Motion as Storytelling 🎬
How might your photo tell a story or give the viewer a sense of context for the scene you are presenting them? In the following example, artist Dan Mahogan uses LeiaPix to animate a hanging oil lantern from a western themed mid-journey piece he created using source photography. Everything is still except for this hanging lantern swaying side to side.

- Prize: One (1) winner will be selected at random to receive one (1) Lume Pad 2 and Two (2) winners will be randomly selected to receive a gift card for Amazon. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other products or services.
- Winner Selection: The winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the event.
- Notification of Winners: The winners will be announced on our company’s social media pages and contacted via email or direct message within three (3) business days of the end of the contest.
