What You Will Do:
In this newly created role, the Senior Accountant will manage the consolidation process while coordinating the close processes. This will include account reviews, journal entries and ensuring data completeness. The ideal candidate will also assist with audits ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will have the ability to research and apply technical accounting knowledge to complex accounting issues, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, as well as own the consolidation reporting and process using best practices.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes for US and international subsidiaries. Perform monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts including journal entry preparation.
- Bring internal control and a process improvement mindset, ensuring policy compliance.
- Conduct in-dept research on complex accounting issues, prepare technical memos, and provide guidance on accounting treatments for non-routine transactions.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff and assist the team with various tasks.
- Bring experience with ERP systems, NetSuite, and system implementations a plus.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and prepare documentation requests for external auditors.
- Assist with various accounting and finance projects as required.

- Highly motivated to join a growing Finance and Accounting team.
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an accounting position, preferably in a multi-entity, multi-currency, or international business setting with minimum of 2 years of managing a team.
- CPA strongly preferred.
